Volt Fitness AI helps track fasting, meals, hydration, workouts, health metrics, reminders, and AI trainer prompts. This policy explains what information the app may collect and how it is used.
Information We Collect
The app may collect information you enter or generate while using Volt Fitness AI, including:
- Profile and app account identifiers.
- Meal schedule, meal logs, water logs, workout logs, fasting status, and daily health metrics.
- Questions, prompts, and responses from Volt AI trainer features.
- Meal photos you choose to submit for an AI calorie and nutrition estimate.
- Steps read from Apple Health, and supported activity, calorie, weight, or exercise information you choose to connect through a compatible health service.
- AI response reports and support messages you choose to submit.
- Notification preferences and device push tokens if background push notifications are enabled later.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to run the app, save progress, personalize daily fitness guidance, generate AI trainer responses, show reminders, and improve reliability and security.
Service Providers
Volt Fitness AI uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and backend functions. AI prompts may be processed through OpenAI from a secure backend function. A meal photo is sent to that secure function and processed by OpenAI only after you choose Take photo or Choose from library; Volt does not save the image in its database. API keys are not placed in the frontend app. Apple or Google platform services may process microphone audio when you choose speech recognition.
Health And Fitness Data
Volt Fitness AI is a fitness and accountability tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Health and fitness information should be reviewed with a qualified professional when needed. Volt requests only the health permissions used by the features you choose to connect and does not use health data for advertising.
Retention And Account Deletion
App records remain associated with your account while it is active. You can permanently delete your Volt account and associated app data in Volt under Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also start from our account deletion page.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by service providers needed to operate the app, including hosting, database, authentication, notification, and AI services.
Security
The app uses Supabase security controls and row-level security policies to limit access to user-owned records. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but the app is designed to avoid exposing service role keys or private backend secrets in the frontend.
